MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA

Helloo beautiful People,

I have wanted to post this trip for a while. In fact, I thought this would be my first blog post ever. But it took my husband million years to transfer these pics from his camera. So I just kept delaying this post but finally here we are. Some of you may already know from my Instagram we went to Montego Bay during reading week in February.

Now some of you might be wondering how the hell is she always travelling?? If I have secretly won a LOTTO and I'm not telling people. The answer is NOOOO I wish I did...and was a millionaire or something. My husband works for Air Canada and you guys can figure out the rest .

The way it works is, its stand by travel, basically you turn up at the airport ..if there is a seat you get on the plane. If not then you wait for the next one or choose another destination. There are pros and cons to this situation - cheap flights almost anywhere in the world. But then  for a crazy OCD person like me..hold on Jahanzeb is worse than me. We like to plan everything to the point...like from our outfits to activities to every single detail. We are not in the moment type of people like we have backup plans, and that plan has back up, and that plan has a back up. I think you guys get the point.

I thought this post was about Jamaica. I will get there eventually just be patient.. remember when I told you guys I go around in circles before getting to any point.  So let's talk about Jamaica. The day we left for the airport there was one CRAZY SNOWSTORM.. our flight got delayed for 3 hours but every time I looked out the window, I just kept thanking God!!! YASSSS WE ARE LEAVING!! I enjoyed the whole free business class experience from here & on the way back it just made our trip MEGA AMAZING!!

And on top of that the resort was just OMGGG!! It was brand new (just opened in November 2015). We stayed in Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, and this was the family side, there was Hyatt Zillara which was a little bit more $$ because it was adults only/Couples resort..but to be honest, it didn't matter because it was all interconnected.

This was our second time in Jamaica, last time we went to Falmouth via Cruise. So technically we saw Jamaica, but not quiet it was just one-day trip packed with gazillion activities. We chose not to do any activities this time ..we just wanted to stay at the resort and just Chill. I loved the weather in Jamaica. It wasn't too hot or too humid which usually is the case. I almost died in Cancun last August because it was so Humid.

One more thing which I liked about this resort was the customer service, just above and beyond. Everyone was super friendly and didn't bother us for tips like every other sec that is usually the case in other Carribean Resorts. I feel like we don't even take advantage of the $$ we pay for the resort, because we don't drink, and obviously, we eat HALAL, so when you go to these type of resorts, we are just going to the beach. Trust me I saw people eating Jerk chicken, burgers, shoving down their throats. I just kept eating my Salads & Veggie Burger.

These pictures don't do justice to how gorgeous it was in real..Some of you are on my snap chat, so you know what I mean. One of my best memories from this trip was the International restaurant we went to on the second night for dinner. It just blew my mind, the whole experience ..ambience, the music, Candle light, it was all soo romantic. Best part was that the chef came to everyone's table to ask what they would like. Again people who wine and dine were going crazy. Ordering the most expensive wine or what not. Jahanzeb and I on the other hand were  happy with our Virgin Mojitos. I loved my Ceviche Salad and my Choclate Molten Cake. At this point, my so-called healthy lifestyle just went Down-the Hill.

Overall, we loved Montego Bay from the music to friendly people, the whole vibe was just amazing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is planning to go to Jamaica.

I can't wait to share more of my Travels with you guys. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures :)

Thank you for reading

FEBURARY FAVOURTIES!!

Helloo beautiful People,

Hope everyone is doing well. You know how long I have wanted to do this post obviously since February it is almost mid-march. I have been so busy with School assignments & Family Stuff. My parents are here, so my current priority is to spend as much time with them as possible. So I had to take a break from this blogging business LOL. Look at me talking about blogging like I have been doing this for years. I just started ;) like literally this is my second post ;)..who do I think I am? Sazan Barzani, she is one of my favourite Blogger BTW. You know what that was my Fun post Idea .. I was going to share my top 5 bloggers.  Hopefully, soon once I have some time on my hands.

Anywhooo this is just a warning I have the tendency to go off the tangent.. so get used to it. Every month I want to share my top 5 Products that I've purchased or liked. It doesn't have to be a beauty product; it could be a book I read, Talkshow I watched, music I liked. I think you get the idea anything which I loved and will share my experience with you guys.

 Let us start already:

1- Water Bottle - HomeSense
So Lately, I have been working out 6 x a week and have increased my water intake like alot..when I say a lot I mean a lot for me. Well just 6-7 bottles a day or more if possible. Don't ask me any ml or litres ..whatever I don't know I'm just drinking water that is all I know.

2- Make it Happen Journal - HomeSense
Let's just get this straight. I love HomeSense and buy all my Home decor stuff almost 99% from HomeSense. This journal is my weight loss journal I have been using to track my inches and pounds and body fat% etc. on the monthly basis. I just liked it .. its soo cute + Making it Happen like anything... You know What I mean.

3- Sea Blossom Candle - HomeSense
I buy candles all the time for my bathroom & bedside etc. But have you guys noticed this whole CANDLE PHASE?? or Is it just me?  There are so just lots of new brands with lots of choices. It is crazy!! But my favourite brand at the moment is Voluspa candles Canada (https://voluspa.com). Every time I go to chapters, I just want to buy all the Candles.

4-  Jo Malone soap bar  - Holt Renfrew
Lime basil & mandarin bath soap smells just aaa ahh-mazing. I got this last year and the whole package, the perfume, the soap, the cream, everything JO MALONE = LOVE. I just wish they had JO MALONE store in Canada.

5- Roberto Cavalli Acqua Perfume - Sephora
I got this last year from Sephora Canada, to be honest so it is not a recent purchase but it is one of my favourite perfume. It smells so floral, musky, fresh. It is more like my everyday perfume.

6-  Nars Caramel Creamy Concealer - Sephora
My most favourite concealer. I have 5-7 different concealers I will talk about them in my makeup blog post soon. But have u seen my dark circles? It is so easy to apply and so light I love it.

7- Gold Smoothie Cup - Starbucks
I had Starbucks gift card from work, so I didn't want to spend $$ on chocolate chip frappuccinos, so I just got this instead. It is my most favourite Smoothie-on-go-Cup. Especially when I'm driving anywhere If I'm hungry I just make a Smoothie and take it with me. So it is Perfect <3

I need to stop this is one long blog post ..and I was supposed to talk about only five products LOL...I also realised I say most favourite a lot ..but then again if it wasn't most favourite why would this be in my FAVOURITES LIST.

Thank you for reading

WELCOME TO CANADA BRUNCH !!

Helloo my beautiful friends,

Last weekend I hosted a brunch for two of my friends who's hubbies just came from England. And I know the feeling I still remember when Jahanzeb's paperwork was processed back in 2013 & that feeling of finally being together & starting a new chapter in my life. Anyhow, I was going to host a low-key desi brunch your typical halwa poori and all.

But knowing myself nothing is low key I started thinking why not go all out and have a Fancy High-tea situation. I had two hours to get everything ready for the brunch. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to details.

I made everything from scratch from Mojito to Baked egg spinach cake, French toast, Pancakes, Cheese Quiche, Baked Sweet potatoes ,dessert. Anyway, I'm running late for the airport, so I need to stop writing my life story here. My parents are coming today I'm so sooooo excited.  So, for now, enjoy the pictures.

Thank you for all the love and support

xoxo
